O BAFTA Game Awards 2026 marca o encerramento da temporada de premiações focada nos jogos de 2025. Havia expectativa de que Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 levasse o principal prêmio, mas o resultado ainda não era totalmente certo antes do anúncio oficial.
Esse cenário só faria sentido se o jogo não tivesse vencido como Melhor Jogo. Com o fim da cerimônia, a equipe da Sandfall Interactive voltou ao palco como última vencedora da noite, levando o prêmio principal e somando mais um título de Jogo do Ano à sua lista.
Ainda assim, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 não dominou completamente a premiação. O jogo venceu três categorias, mesmo com nove indicações — o maior número entre os concorrentes deste ano.
Os prêmios ficaram mais distribuídos. Além de Clair Obscur, apenas Dispatch e Ghost of Yotei tiveram mais de uma vitória.
